Joetta recently achieved another milestone in her career by receiving her certification from the Certification Board of Infection Prevention and Epidemiology. This certification is the only standardized measurement of essential knowledge, skills and abilities expected of infection prevention and control professionals in North America.
Joetta is one of just a handful of Board Certified in InfectionPrevention and Control professionals in Tulare County. We are so proud to have her on the HCCA/TRMC team!
As we leave 2016 another New Year is upon us. For many, including myself, that also means new goals, new hopes, and a newfound sense of energy and drive to reach even greater heights in 2017…

The Clinical Laboratory at Tulare Regional Medical Center has been accredited by The Joint Commission for maintaining strict standards of quality, accuracy and competency.
The Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes has recognized HCCA/Tulare Regional Medical Center for 2016 Performance Excellence in Prevention of Hospital Acquired Infections – MRSA Total Facility.
Tulare Regional Medical Center has received the 2016 award for achieving the Healthy People 2020 goal for low-risk, first-birth Cesarean sections (C-sections). By reaching this goal in 2015, our team is delivering safer and more affordable care for Californians. This award is presented by the California Health and Human Services Agency.
To achieve this award a California hospital must achieve a Cesarean section rate of 23.9 percent or lower for low-risk, first-birth deliveries.
This is further evidence of HCCA/TRMC’s pursuit for higher quality care in our OB and pediatric services
